Tales From the Lunch Line

   Here's what real BPS students have to say about school lunch:

   I skip lunch most of the time because the school lunch is very unhealthy and gross.

2. School: Excel High 

   
   

   I don't really like the school lunches unless it's like a salad or fruits. The only thing I don't mind eating from lunch is a hot dog or a sandwich which they barely give.

   I use to eat school lunch, but now i get lunch from home as much as I can. I spend money to eat out because school lunch is so disgusting. My mom even wants to get involved with school lunch because she thinks we are be fed jail food.

   I do not eat school lunch because i go out to eat. the reason i eat out is because first of all i have to pay for school lunch. and second if i should pay for school it should be good food not nasty food.

5. School: BLA

   I go to BLA and i get a lunch because i receive free lunch, but only so i do not pay for milk. I often take 3 or 4 bites, then throw it out because our lunches are that bad. bagged lunches are the way to go, but only IF you can get one.
